Anastazja Dzik

Anastazja Dzik is a new artist from Warszawa, Poland. She has always been passionate about art and its ability to convey emotions. Currently, her primary focus is on watercolour painting, a medium that is known as challenging and rewarding. Its fluidity allows for a unique expression of thoughts and feelings. Alongside watercolours, she has also ventured into the world of oil painting. Both mediums activate her, and through them, she aims to share a piece of her world.

“I have been drawing since childhood. For me, painting is a challenge to me, an endless experiment. Every time I want to paint more complex paintings with lots of details: simple at first sight, light, but complicated at the same time. When you look at my works you see catching points and balance, you want to stay, to look, to learn, to analyze the painting. I can boldly say my art expresses my special style, inner world and dreams which with the help of watercolour are not only living in my head but are borning on aquarelle paper. To express my view of beauty, I choose watercolour: so complex, and challenging, but at the same time so delightful and rewarding. As a creator, I use the best paper and paints and dress up my watercolour works in the best outfits - museum glass UltraVue UV70 and passe-partout. 2023 is for me the year when I want to paint colourful flowers with lots of meaning: iris - the sign of nobility; passionfruit flower refers to the passion of Jesus; meadow bells - symbol talisman of complete openness, giving room of wisdom; forget-me-nots inspired by unrequited love and feeling blue... My inspiration is life itself, nature and music... Listening to music and painting is inseparable.”
