Artist Biography:

Francisca Siri is a Chilean artist born in Santiago in 1971. She initially pursued studies in agricultural engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Alongside her academic pursuits, she maintained a passion for painting and sculpture, engaging in parallel studies at various art academies. However, it wasn't until 2005 that she decided to follow her heart and embark on a career as a professional artist.

Artist Statement:

Working primarily with pastels, charcoal, acrylics, and oil, Siri focuses her attention on observing nature and figures with a realistic style. She is particularly drawn to capturing light, recognizing its elusive quality and transformative power over figures and landscapes within mere seconds. Siri aims to inspire people to reconnect with nature and life through her art, with a specific focus on capturing the vibrant personality of individuals in her pursuit of this beloved art form.
