Hector Valdes

Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Surgery from the University of Chile, specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (Rio de Janeiro) and specialized in Plastic Surgery by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. Master's in Surgery from the University of Valencia and Master's in Aesthetic Medicine from King Juan Carlos University.

Founder of an aesthetic surgery clinic in Santiago, Chile, he established himself in Madrid with the opening of the Doctor Valdés Clinic in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, which he combines with his work as a member of the medical staff at the "HC" International Hospital in Marbella.

Parallel to my career as a plastic surgeon, I have developed my vocation and passion for art by continually supporting young artists and some established ones through exhibitions that I regularly organize in the art galleries I maintain in my workplaces in Santiago and Madrid.

I have also published five books that combine the concepts of art and plastic surgery. An example is my "Atelier" project, which I initiated in 2010. With its material, blending body paint with changes in form achieved through subsequent surgical intervention, I published my book "Atelier" in 2015 and presented the installation in Venice in 2019.
