“ In my work, my researches question the metamorphoses, marks, mutilations etc. of the contemporary human body conditioned by the events it goes through and how it can absorb, reject or transcend the impact of those conditionings. Whether because of dramatic events ( war, accident,, exil, toxic relationship...) or because of the quest for identity, belonging, pleasure, power (gender, blood ties, uniform, costume, tatoo, accessories...) Through the process of creation, it suddenly became obvious that my journey was deeply rooted to the process of the Lobster. I decided to research about lobsters The Lobster represents that ability of recreation. It has an incredible potential to recover and grow despite being damaged. Each step that is taken in our stories of life creates a new inner space and a new shell that will need to be removed in order to evolve. The Lobster is the quiet observer, highlighting our inner potential in challenging times. So what will I choose for being?”
