“During the Covid pandemic, I came to realize there's something inside me squirming and wriggling. They were unknown and unconscious feelings. Of all, some were complex senses such as desperation, sadness, limitation, confinement, addiction, loneliness, and longing. I started painting almost instinctively. The painting process turned these complex feelings into calmness.

They felt foreign but at the same time exuberant and free. All my pieces represent the discovery of these senses and feelings that are portrayed.”
