Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Elena-Papp Botta was born in Italy and lives in Hungary. She works with both digital and analog cameras, often in black and white, focusing on flowers, landscapes, and the play of light and shadow. Her work explores the beauty of transience, capturing moments where simplicity and emotion meet.

She began exploring fine art photography a year ago and often photographs in sunlight on the streets, where shadows draw different patterns on the walls—a theme she plans to turn into an album in the coming year. She is also passionate about hiking in the mountains, and the photographs she captures there hold deep personal meaning for her.
