Carrie Gangwish

Artist Biography / Artist Statement

Carrie Gangwish is an artist based in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in the spring of 2026. Carrie believes that living in the moment is the best way to move through life. She examines resilience, healing, and the complexities of human connection through her floral and figurative imagery. Her paintings are rooted in vulnerability and reflection, inviting viewers to bring their own experiences and interpretations to the work. Through these shared moments of connection, she hopes to create space for empathy, understanding, and personal reflection.
