Artist Biography / Artist Statement

In my artistic practice, I explore the human figure and its emotions. My aim is to reveal the intimate truth of the bonds that unite us, pursuing the invisible in order to render it tangible.

I place my works in space to heighten their expression. My process focuses on how to convey an intense emotion through something immobile and silent.

I aspire for my works to coexist with people in both urban and domestic spaces; my goal is to provoke a “fissure” in routine. I want this chance encounter to return the viewer to the intimate and the human, reminding us of our emotional memory and our most authentic connection with ourselves in a world that is becoming increasingly depersonalized.
