Artist Biography / Artist Statement

Desiree Griffith is a self-taught artist based in Dallas, Texas. She is a contemporary artist whose work explores the physicality of emotion through texture and form. She creates highly tactile abstract pieces that invite the viewer into a dialogue between material and feeling. Cracked ridges, layered forms, and sculptural protrusions act as emotional terrain, capturing the way energy lingers, memory imprints, and silence speaks. These surfaces are meant to be felt, even when they are only seen.
