The artworks of E. Ofza are a quest for understanding, an intent to grasp reality in a deeper way. Photographs are obtained through the movement of the artist’s body during a long exposure. Obsessively trained and dance-like gestures allow the artist to portray the emergence of an ethereal, almost invisible reality that ordinary shapes hide. This aesthetic emerges from the need to visually evoke the process of construction of meaning from the perception of events, which is ultimately the turning point around which her artistic creation develops.
