Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Eduardo Rangel (1970). From his native Venezuela, where he began his artistic journey, to his current residence in the vibrant city of Barcelona, wood has remained the constant language of his artistic expression.

Over the years, he has developed various carving and assembly techniques, bringing to life works that converse with the textures and intrinsic essence of each type of wood.

His work reflects a deep connection with nature and a constant search between form and material, in an intuitive and meticulous process where sculptural tradition merges with a contemporary vision inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty and warmth of wood transformed into art.
