Florence Sartori
Artist Biography / Artist Statement
Florence Sartori has built her artistic career at the intersection of different artistic disciplines. She developed early on in a world rich in sensitive expression, rubbing shoulders with musicians, dancers, actors, and visual artists. These constant exchanges nurtured a cross-disciplinary vision of art, in which the body and movement occupy a central place.
She trained in various workshops, mastered the techniques of terracotta and bronze, and gradually forged a personal artistic language.
Florence Sartori's sculptural practice revolves around the representation of the female body. Inspired by dance, she questions body language, its internal tension, its flexibility, and its presence in space.
Florence Sartori's sculptures embody a free and timeless femininity. Between abstract lines and controlled sensuality, her work offers a refined yet vibrant interpretation of the contemporary female condition.
