Gina Pan
Artist Biography / Artist Statement
Gina is a self-trained artist who works with watercolors and colored pencils to create intricate, ethereal, and evocative paintings that explore life, death, and rebirth through stories and myths surrounding female figures. Merging influences such as Klimt and Mucha alongside Yoshitaka Amano, CLAMP, and classical Chinese ink paintings, she has developed a unique visual vocabulary to engage with viewers’ emotions and challenge their preconceived notions of women and femininity, creating new mythologies surrounding women and femininity.
