Artist Biography:

Grudinita is a California-based artist. Educated in textile design in Moscow, she began her career as a textile designer and illustrator before expanding her practice into painting, photography, and mixed media.

Her work explores memory, imagination, and the ways in which the past continues to exist within the present, combining symbolic visual language with contemporary reflections on human experience.

Artist Statement:

Future in the Past explores memory as a living space. For me, the past is never finished—it continues to shape the present while already containing the outlines of the future. Painting becomes a place where different layers of time coexist, allowing viewers to discover their own memories within the image.
