Hervé Teboul

Artist Biography / Artist Statement
Hervé Teboul is a French artist based in Montreal, Canada since 2001. Passionate about art since childhood, he began taking workshops in Nice around the age of 18 to refine his technique and explore painting in the South of France, where he lived until his early thirties. Gardens, countryside, villages, and bodies of water were his main sources of inspiration.
Starting in 1998, he adopted a post-impressionist style, producing several collections of paintings in which Mediterranean light and color captivated many art enthusiasts and collectors in France, Canada, and the United States who visited his studio-galleries and art schools to acquire his listed works.
After working through various artistic periods, he now paints in a contemporary style on themes that interest him, using acrylic paint combined with gold or silver leaf.
