Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

My work is an exploration of the dynamic interplay between spontaneity and structure. Using the ancient technique of encaustic, I apply liquid wax with a hot plate in a gestural and intuitive manner, allowing vibrant forms to emerge organically on the surface. This method embraces chance, as the hot, liquid wax develops its own dynamics upon hitting the surface, guided by my hand movements. Each piece is a reflection of motion and energy, with soft transitions blending seamlessly into precise lines and patterns.

Through my art, I aim to invite viewers into a space of quiet contemplation and discovery—a journey through layers of color, texture, and meaning.
