Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Irina Biatturi, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, has earned international recognition through prestigious awards, including the Audience and President’s Prizes at the Florence Biennale 2023 and the title of Best European Artist at World Art Dubai 2024. After living in Mexico and New Zealand, she established herself in Antibes, where she has been creating for over twenty years.

Her artistic world is deeply inspired by femininity and the elegance of Art Deco, capturing the luminous atmosphere of the French Riviera. Through refined portraits and evocative scenes, she conveys both nostalgia and timeless sophistication.

Biatturi’s works are part of private collections worldwide and have been exhibited in acclaimed galleries and museums, as well as featured in international press and on book covers.
