Shanghai-born, Hong Kong-based artist Jady Xu (she/her) turns our obsession with photographing food into something far more lasting—vivid acrylic paintings that blend realism with imagination. By day, she navigates the fast-paced world of IT; by night, she brings dishes to life with brushstrokes that glisten, crunch, and glow.

Specializing in acrylic food art, Jady captures more than just meals—she paints memories, moods, and cultural layers. With bold colors, unexpected textures, and storytelling rooted in her dual heritage, her work invites us to pause, look closer, and taste with our eyes.
