Artist Biography:

Karin Sonesson is a Swedish contemporary artist based in Marbella.
Her work explores presence, movement, and emotional depth through colour and materiality.

Working primarily with acrylic, alcohol ink, and ceramics, her practice reflects a dialogue between Scandinavian clarity and Mediterranean warmth. Her artistic journey is shaped by early creative experiences along the Swedish coastline and a later immersion in the light, rhythm, and energy of life in Marbella.

Today, Karin Sonesson creates contemporary art for design-led interiors and private collectors, offering both original works and commissioned pieces that engage closely with space, atmosphere, and lived experience.
