Katharina Rochat  

Katharina is Swiss and lives in the Zurich area. As a self-taught artist and by reading various art books and acrylic painting courses, she has been devoting herself to her passion for her art. In painting she can express all her feelings. Her captivating artworks are created in mixed media often with structure. They are an expression of her positive thoughts and are inspired by the simplicity of abstract expression.

Katharina’s art work is especially influenced by water worlds and natural beauty. It matters to her to create works that touch the heart. With light and play of colours she enables the viewer to dive into a space with harmony and atmosphere. If she succeeds in this, she has achieved her artistic goal.

Her works are attracting greater and greater attention. For example, a paintings by the well-known German film director and screenwriter David Wnendt was selected from DETAiLFILM Berlin. The film “THE SUNLIT NIGHT” will be shown in Cinemas in Germany for the first time from 23.09.21. 

It is precisely her painting depicting the natural beauties of Tuscany that have attracted the attention of the internationally renowned Morcotew Gallery of Raphael Fornara-Erni and Simone Erni. This resulted in her acceptance as a member of Swissartgroup, ArtUniverseGroup, Artforsmallmoney and the Galleria Morcote.
