Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Latifa Al Shaikh is a Bahraini artist whose passion for abstract expression lies at the heart of her creative journey. Raised in an artistic family, she developed a deep love for art early on. Her work blends structured precision with spontaneous freedom, resulting in powerful and thought-provoking compositions. Inspired by the interplay of color, form, and texture, Latifa transforms emotions into visual stories. Her background in retail banking and portfolio management influences her meticulous yet expressive process. She invites viewers to connect with her work on a personal level, encouraging reflection and emotional exploration.

For Latifa, art is a shared experience that bridges artist and audience. She has exhibited her work in Bahrain and internationally, consistently pushing the boundaries of abstract art and sharing her evolving vision with the world.
