Lina Cabrera

Artist Biography / Artist Statement

My works are defined by moments of inspiration and artistic creativity, without a preconceived idea at the beginning, creating a constant dialogue between the brushes, the canvas, and finally, the viewer.

The paintings are full of life, harmony, movement, expression, and subtle overall beauty, provoking emotions and awakening feelings.

I consider myself a nomadic artist, as I have lived and worked in different countries for many years. This has greatly influenced my pictorial work, as my main motivation is to find new effects, harmonious combinations of colours and forms, and a unique expression.

When creating my work, I do so without a prior sketch, making it a direct expression of the creative moment. All of this is reflected in the different motifs and series produced in recent years.
