Artist Biography / Artist Statement

I am a very curious architect and artist. My father was an engineer and carpenter, and my mother is a sculpture and drawing professor. With them, I learned to love any kind of technique that allows the expression of the soul.

Since I was very young, I worked with ceramics, clay modeling, wood carving, xylography, papier-mâché, glass fusing, and metal structures for cement and plaster sculpture. I also practiced drawing techniques of the human figure, acrylic painting, watercolor, and oil painting.

I studied special effects for cinema and theatre, where I expanded my knowledge of epoxy putty, polyurethane materials, and resins. I also studied set design for theatre, integrating carpentry for partition construction and polystyrene carving. I later graduated as an architect, further expanding my knowledge of integrating different materials and large-scale structures. I have recently learned the art of marble carving.
