Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Erina Alushi, known artistically as Lynkunst, is a surgeon and painter based in Rome. Her artistic practice emerges at the intersection of medicine and contemporary art, where clinical knowledge and creative inquiry converge. As a physician, she engages daily with the vulnerability of the human condition; as an artist, she reinterprets these encounters through a visual language that is both intimate and universal.

Her deep familiarity with human anatomy, cultivated through her medical profession, informs a body of work that explores themes of fragility, transformation, and resilience. Each piece offers a reflection on the silent narratives of illness and healing, becoming a site of dialogue between science and subjectivity, corporeality and introspection.
