Artist Biography / Artist Statement

Maria Escano is a self-taught artist from Malaga, deeply influenced by her creative roots. The daughter of an oil painter and an iron sculptor, her work explores identity, emotion, and the human form through a bold use of symbolism and texture. From vibrant floral designs to striking masks, her pieces convey a visual language that transcends words.
