Artist Biography / Artist Statement

My work explores the space between analytical understanding and experiential acceptance. As a data scientist, I work with time through numbers, probabilities, and patterns. Data analysis attempts to reduce uncertainty and reveal structure. It seeks clarity.

However, through painting I encounter a different reality. Nature does not eliminate uncertainty. It moves within it. Wind moves trees, rain falls, and light fades. These processes cannot be fully predicted, only experienced.

My paintings exist between these two ways of understanding the world. They can be understood as physical visualizations of time, where measured time (data) and experienced time (nature) intersect.
