Michele Ballarini was born and raised in the vibrant and inspiring city of Verona, Italy, in October 1980.

“For me, art is the mediator of the meanings of the world, the means of arriving at truth. To reach truth, I do not use reason, which is a system of rules, but mentally regress to the polyvalent truth of a child. To escape the anguish and fear of war, denouncing its futility, I deconstruct its symbols. I redefine them, ending their original meaning and giving a new one in a message of hope.”
