Monika Wanyura-Kurosad
Artist Biography / Artist Statement
Author of artistic installations and drawings, graphic artist, scenographer. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Interested in the theme of passing time and the space of memory. Abstraction is her favourite language of artistic expression. She is inspired by nature, micro-worlds, and elements of the universe. Creates collages of old photographs, paintings, and digital graphics.
She has prepared over a dozen solo exhibitions and participated in over 140 exhibitions. Her works are held in collections in Canada, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and Poland.
