Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Nasim Parsa is a Sydney-based, Iranian-born artist whose work is influenced by her Persian heritage and culture. She studied painting and visual art at Tehran Art School. After moving to Australia, she continued sharing her passion for art while expanding her creative practice, Vandart Studio.

With over 25 years of experience, Nasim works with diverse mediums such as acrylic, oil, resin, cement texture effects, and paste, blending realism, modern, and abstract forms to create a unique artistic voice. Her work serves as a bridge between traditional Persian and Mediterranean motifs and contemporary techniques, exploring themes of identity, history, spirituality, and human connection. She also enjoys adding detail to her realism art pieces created years ago, bringing them to life and blending them with her present artistic perspective.
