Artist Biography / Artist Statement:
I was born in Toulouse, France, in 1972. I have always been interested in drawing and painting. After completing my art studies about thirty years ago, I chose to work with adhesives that diffract light. In this way, I combine adhesives with all kinds of inks, acrylics, varnishes, and pigments. I titled my works “Pigments and Wavelengths.” My inspiration comes from trees, nature, and landscapes. My abstract paintings are also enriched with female nudes seen from the back, inspired by different eras. They appear to quietly contemplate these colorful, sometimes tormented impressions. I want my paintings to reflect spirituality, gentleness, and poetry.
