Artist Biography / Artist Statement

Welcome to my artistic world. I'm Reem Alwasiyah, known as Reem Wassy, a Saudi artist who believes that the way the paintbrush is held determines the path of the artwork. I view painting as a personal expression of emotions, thoughts, and identity, where colors and shapes transcend constraints to tell stories beyond words.

I have had the honor of showcasing my work in exhibitions across Saudi Arabia, as well as in cities like Barcelona, Venice, Northern Coast, and Cairo. These experiences allow me to connect with diverse audiences and share ideas across cultures.

I have also created works on furniture and accessories, extending my art into functional yet unique pieces. Some of my works have been acquired by prominent influencers across the Middle East, further expanding my reach and impact.
