RLL

Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

RLL is originally from Montpellier, France. Although she has always drawn, she began painting in 2012, starting with a period known as Multicolored Drops. Through this series, she sought to communicate her love of movement and vibrant energy.

She later explored abstract and geometric forms, maintaining her signature use of rich, vivid colours. Since 2021, gold has become a constant feature in her work, reinforcing her fascination with light. Deeply inspired by Gustav Klimt, RLL also draws influence from street artists such as Hopare, Martin Ron, Farid Rueda, and Banksy, as well as from the Impressionist masters Monet, Degas, and Manet.

For RLL, painting is a language of its own—an expressive medium through which she conveys colour, energy, aesthetics, and light, with gold symbolizing illumination and vitality.
