Sá-Rocha
Artist Biography / Artist Statement
My artistic research currently encompasses a wide range of interests, echoing the diverse passions I have pursued throughout my career. Line work, vibrant colours, and a variety of themes—almost always presented as series—are central to my practice.
I firmly believe that art has the power to transform both individuals and the wider world, and I am committed to inspiring meaningful change through my work.
I endeavour to make my creative process an adventure, striving not only to evoke emotion but also to spark thoughtful dialogue. I take pleasure in presenting and discussing my work, delving into its themes, motifs, underlying motivations, and emotional resonance, as well as exploring the techniques, choices, and alternatives that shape each piece.
Discourse and practice.
Pleasure and knowledge.
