Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

I have been painting for as long as I can remember, and I am a passionate self-taught artist.

I don’t know if you can truly learn to paint—you just have to live it. That’s how I see it.

I began with portraiture, but after a few trips to California, particularly Palm Springs, I discovered “my future canvases” in those colourful streets. It was love at first sight for me as an artist—an obvious choice.

Since then, I have been capturing on canvas the soft architecture of these sublime homes, the vibrant colours of their gardens, the majestic reflections of their pools, and, above all, their distinctly Sixties aesthetic, which carries a touch of nostalgia. Palm Springs has become my source of infinite inspiration.
