Inha Arceo
Artist Biography / Artist Statement
Gracinha “Inha” Arceo (b. 1994) is a contemporary artist from the Philippines whose work moves between playfulness and depth. Exhibiting internationally—from Manila to Madrid, Lisbon, and Monaco—Arceo refined her practice through classical training in drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. This training inspired her to work primarily with oil paint and acrylic, merging figuration with expressionist energy.
Her paintings hold both vibrancy and vulnerability—intimate reflections of everyday life where joy, strength, and self-discovery coexist. Through bold color and fluid form, she makes emotion visible and identity in motion.
Her practice is both personal and collective: to elevate Filipino art globally, to encourage others to create, and to honor her heritage. For Arceo, painting is a space for empowerment, connection, and emotional truth.
