Veruszca

Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

From the musical staff to the canvas,
the paper, the clay, and the ceramics,
my colors found a direct path for expression.

Life for me is color, beauty, and death.

My work is a manifesto of
transmutation of pain through
movement and the freedom of creative forms and compositions.

Through them, I seek to escape vulgarity,
which overwhelms with fear and prevents us
from making ourselves lovingly visible.

To become truth.

To escape that fear that keeps us
captive, imprisoned, dark, sinister,
without love.

Born in Alta Gracia, Verónica is a multidisciplinary artist—musician, painter, and poet. Since the age of four, she has maintained a close relationship with music, drawing, and the written word.

Her journey through classical music conservatories, workshops, and classes in popular and lyrical singing has driven Verónica to constant exploration, including studies in musical composition and social communication within academic settings.

She learned painting as a self-taught artist. Her works are characterized by the use of color and organic lines, extending across various mediums such as porcelain, ceramics, paper, and canvas.

She is currently developing her latest project, "Respira", in collaboration with composer and musician Ana Robles, which will be exhibited at the end of 2024 at Galería Juana de Arte in Martínez, Buenos Aires.
