Artist Biography / Artist Statement

I am a contemporary visual artist whose practice is rooted in painting and informed by research into the body, materiality, and ecology. Through metallic surfaces, reflective layers, translucent coverings, and shifting bodily forms, I explore how subjectivity is shaped through exposure, exchange, and transformation.

Influenced by hydrofeminism, material feminism, and ecological thought, I approach painting as a space where bodies, materials, and environments continuously interact. Rather than depicting the body as a fixed and bounded entity, I understand it as a fluid interface that absorbs, resists, and responds to the world around it.

My work investigates the tension between visibility and concealment, gloss and damage, beauty and vulnerability. Positioned between figuration and abstraction, the paintings create unstable spaces where boundaries dissolve and relationships emerge.
